Junji Koizumi
Candle artist / The flame of a candle is burned to meet nature and people. Rather than having my own work seen, I burn it for people to meet nature and other people. I express The Milky Way and a shooting star on the ground with the flame of candles on the theme of the exchange between people and nature.


Brief biography
1948 Born in Tokyo.
1991 Established Candle Life Co.
  "Announcement of Candle Art: River of a flame"
1992 "Private exhibition of Candle Art: Pyramid Candles"
1993 Awarded the coordination grand-prix at the 1st table wear festival.
2004 Awarded the "international art cultural prize" Kikuka-shou from Japan Arts Council.
  Started the commonalty school of lights.
